7 Wonders: Leaders (2011)
From Repos Production:
"Within the walls of cities, great men and women inspire nations and lead civilizations to their peaks. Choose them wisely and they will help bring your city achieve greatness. Neglect them and they will lead rival cities... or their armies ! This expansion for 7 Wonders offers you a new type of card which will bring an extra strategic dimension to your games: the Leaders. This is an expansion for the game 7 Wonders, the basic game is required to play."
7 Wonders: Leaders adds 42 new cards to the base game: four new guilds (purple cards), one new wonder card, and 36 (+1 blank) white "Leader" cards. At the start of the game, each player is dealt four leaders at random and may play one at the start of each of the three Ages. Unlike the standard cards, leaders cost money (not resources). The expansion comes with a new Wonder - the ancient city of Rome - and contains 6-gold tokens made of cardboard for more efficient money-management. There is also a new score booklet found in the box: it will allow you to add victory points earned by some Leaders. Each player starts with 6 coins (instead of 3 as in the base game).
